Eco Council

The Eco Council is a group of children elected by their peers to promote environmental awareness within our school. They focus on continuing to reduce waste, improve recycling, and care for our outdoor spaces, as well as energy conservation and links with the local community. The Eco Council meets monthly where each member represents their class, sharing ideas and concerns about environmental matters.
The Eco-Council also takes a leading role in eco-assemblies, litter picks, planting projects, and energy saving initiatives. They are currently working on creating their own “farm to fork” project, growing vegetables linked to the Design and Technology (DT) curriculum, and developing innovative ideas to further improve our school environment.
