Science at Withymoor
It is our intent that children will have a secure and broad knowledge of the physical, chemical and biological scientific world around them. This will be achieved through exploration, observation, collecting data, critical thinking and working scientifically. Through equal scientific opportunities for all, children will develop a passion for exploring, unpicking and unlocking the world of science as well as learning about sustainability and raise awareness of ways that humans can and do impact the environment. Children will plan and carry out their own investigations, experiments and fieldwork, solving challenging problems and reporting scientific findings.
