  • Congratulations and well done to one of our parents!

    Wed 21 Sep 2022

A big shout out to one of our amazing parents, Mr Jasper, who recently took part in the Iron Man Challenge. This involved a 2.4 mile swim in a very choppy sea – a feat that many participants failed to complete because of the difficult conditions; Mr Jasper completed this part of the challenge in 1 hour and 5 minutes. He then rode a bike for 112 miles, with over 8300 feet elevation, finishing this part of the race in just over 6 hours. There was then a marathon run with 1600 feet elevation and, even though his quads started to seize up for the last 6 miles, Mr Jasper completed the 26.2 miles in under 4 hours! By doing all of this, Mr Jasper has raised over £1000 for Cancer Research. I am sure you will all want to join me in congratulating Mr Jasper as this is a fantastic achievement!
